Adamz Production is at Cannes 2017, the epicenter of international cinema. The official selection has been announced and the competition is fierce at the 70th Cannes film Festival.

From well-known directors to promising newcomers, Cannes 2017 is packed with exciting new films.  To make sense of it all, here are the 5 foreign films we’re most looking forward to see this year.

Michael Haneke’s new drama focuses its disapproval on a wealthy French family led by iron matriarch Isabelle Huppert. The film’s director, Haneke, has won the Palme d’Or twice before, one of only eight directors to so.

Ge-Hu

South Korean director Hong Sang-soo is a festival favorite. Hong is returning to Cannes 2017 with his latest film, Geu-Hu. The film is about a mistaken identity story set in the publishing world.

120 Battements Par Minute

Robin Campillo follows Eastern Boys by mining his past as a member of AIDs activist group ACT UP in 1990s Paris in this drama of politics, passion and loss.

In The Fade

D. Aus Dem Nichts

Diane Kruger stars in Fatih Akin’s German language film, Aus Dem Nichts (In The Fade). The film has been selected for a Cannes 2017 prize due to its unique story which is about a high school student in Turkey.

Jupiter's Moon

E. Jupiter’s Moon

Jupiter’s Moon” marks the fifth consecutive film from Hungarian director Kornel Mundruczo’s to premiere at Cannes 2017. The film is about a young immigrant who is shot down while illegally crossing the border.
